Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sankhu (1,350m) and Trek to Nagarkot (2,156m)

The journey begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Sankhu, located on the eastern edge of the Kathmandu valley. Upon arrival in Sankhu, the hike starts through an ancient village and temples. The trail ascends gradually along the sacred Sali Nadi River, passing through villages, rice terraces, jungles, and offering beautiful mountain views. After reaching Kattike village, a short walk brings us to Nagarkot, where we can enjoy the sunset and panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, including Mount Everest. Overnight at a hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 2: Trek from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel

We wake up early to witness the sunrise and views of the Eastern Himalayas, including Mount Everest. After breakfast, we start the trek to Dhulikhel, passing through pine forests and rice terraces, and traversing the Nala village with its various countryside activities. Dhulikhel is renowned for its splendid Himalayan views, exotic bird species, and rich Newari culture and traditions. Overnight at a hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 3: Visit Namobuddha and Trek to Panauti Village, then Drive Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we hike to Namobuddha (1,982m), a popular monastery and meditation site. From Namobuddha, we continue our trek to Panauti village, known for its Newari culture, Indreshwar Mahadev Temple, beautiful landscapes, and exotic bird species. After exploring Panauti, a private vehicle takes us back to Kathmandu for an overnight stay at the hotel.
